Coach + Mentor

I’m Erik Panzer.

As a mental performance coach and mentor, I combine my experience as a professional athlete around the world with a background in psychology to support individuals, clubs, organisations, and school teams.

I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from Quinnipiac University and a postgraduate diploma in psychology from the University of Waikato, where I’m currently completing my master’s in psychology. An adventurer at heart—always seeking new experiences and perspectives, my journey has taken me around the world, allowing me to connect with people from all walks of life. These experiences have shaped who I am and how I work.

Passionate about building meaningful relationships and committed to continual personal growth, through the lessons I’ve learned on and off the field, I help others discover their own purposeful path and live a more fulfilling life.

DISCLAIMER: Erik is not a registered psychologist and does not claim to be. His work as a mental performance coach and mentor is focused on personal development, mindset, and performance-related support. If any concerns arise that fall outside his scope, Erik will refer individuals to the appropriate professionals or support services to ensure they get the help they need.

Relatable Experience

Experiencing a roller-coaster journey through football, with countless challenges, this shaped me both as a player and a person.

My experience chasing a professional sports career helps me connect with young athletes. I work with footballers as well as young athletes from other sporting codes such as kayaking, athletics, karate, swimming, cricket, volleyball and rugby. Currently working with individuals in one on one sessions, as well as in groups/teams.

My work focuses on themes of identity and purpose, behaviour, and performance.
